Today is 11th May 2014. Deadline of Financial Reporting is about to be over. Only 7 days remained! Every month I had to make you remembered about a soft copy of Finished Goods Report which is impossible for the time being. As the ERP is still going on, many development/design/input activities already made our life miserable. Waiting for your soft copy of Finished Goods report added the pain one drop more! I have asked you today about the Finished Goods Report but you said you forgot!

It is very normal that someone may forget anything at a point of time. But continuous mistake in every month means you deliberately delaying the reporting.I think, your mistake should not amount to the suffering for others. Generally, we do not expect more than 3 days from the last day of every month to have your Finished Goods report been submitted to us. If you have any problem to submit the Report on-time then please let the Management know. I think you understand the urgency level. One more point, It was very indecent that you have cut my Phone call in such a way.

3G and 4G coverage (population and territory) operators measured by ARCEP

ARCEP has just delivered his study covers 3G and 4G mobile operators. The opportunity to discover the coverage rate of the population and the territory in 3G and 4G of four operators at December 31, 2014. Not surprisingly, Orange and Bouygues Telecom are neck and neck in terms of 4G coverage.

It is now several months that mobile operators do not communicate about their 4G coverage. The observatory ARCEP allows to know a little more, although the measures have been carried out in December 2014. Thus, according to audits of ARCEP on the ground, covered Orange there five months 72% of the population, 71% Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Free Mobile 53% 33%. In terms of coverage, the ranking changes slightly with Bouygues Telecom which precedes Orange (respectively 23 and 22%), both followed by SFR 14% and Free Mobile 3%.

Of course, operators have had ample time to develop their 4G network since December. This is especially true of Free Mobile, which increased by 63% the number of active antennas in 5 months, against 10% for SFR, Orange 9.6% and 6% for Bouygues Telecom. The numbers should be better overall and those of Free Mobile quite close to those of SFR. It should be noted that the SFR coverage takes into account the roaming agreement with Bouygues Telecom allow SFR customers, since last November, access to part of the 1800 MHz 4G Bouygues Telecom network. ARCEP also published coverage maps to give a visual idea. Finally, the coverage rate in population and area is available for each operator, department by department, in a large Excel file.
Yet 70% of the territory and 20% of the population to cover

ARCEP recalls that for 4G, there is still 70% of the territory and 20% of the population covered. Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Orange have until January 2017 to cover 40% of low density areas (areas representing 63% of the territory and 18% of the population). Free Mobile is not affected since it does not have frequencies in the 800 MHz band. Finally, ARCEP wishes that operators can offer enhanced coverage maps - including an indication of the quality of service as the call quality or flows in the area - and reliable (reliability of 4G cards is between 98.7 and 99.5% according to the operators, as indicated by the ARCEP).

The coverage 2G / 3G sifted

Regarding 3G, ARCEP also performed measurements in December 2014. Orange takes the top spot with 99% population coverage and 91% of the territory. It is followed by SFR, Free Mobile and finally Bouygues Telecom with respectively 99, 98 and 97% of population covered and 92, 82 and 80% of the territory covered. The results of Free Mobile reflect the roaming agreement with Orange. Still, coverage rates are different between the two operators since in the white areas, Free Mobile has no access to homelessness when SFR or Bouygues Telecom covers the area instead of Orange.

Will Nokia comeback in 2016 with mobile phones to consumer?

Will Nokia return in the smartphone market? For the answer to this question, it will probably take until 2016 because at the moment, the manufacturer can not use the Nokia brand on smartphones and basic phones. This is due to a deal with Microsoft, which is part of the acquisition of its division that produces mobile by the Redmond company.

However, rumors (and interpretations) already suggests that Nokia will return in this market when the agreement expires.

There are few days, sources had indicated that Nokia intends to develop new smartphones via a unit called Nokia Technologies that would have a high potential in terms of R & D and is already behind products like the Z-Launcher or N1 tablet.

And more recently, media reported that Nokia China CEO reportedly confirmed the Asian SCDaily website that the company actually plans to return to the arena with Android smartphones, which will be produced in China.

For now, it is only rumors and even Nokia has responded with a statement relayed by Reuters. "Nokia noted some recent reports claiming that the company would release an intention to produce mobile to consumers for an R & D facility in China. These reports are incorrect [...]. Nokia reiterated it currently has no plans to manufacture or sell mobile for consumers. "

After, this does not necessarily mean that all is lost. Perhaps the company wants to discrete time on it since 2016, is still relatively far away. In all, what is certain is that even slashed its Devices & Services unit, the manufacturer has yet been able to release an Android tablet N1 (which was manufactured by the Taiwanese Foxconn).

Ubuntu preparing a user friendly smartphone like a PC

I personally like the idea: use the processor and RAM of a mobile (premium) to be used as a PC, provided they are equipped with a screen, keyboard and mouse.

This is not new, but it has not yet pierced. For example, Andromium (developed by former Google employees) already allows the use of an Android smartphone as a PC, with some applications, especially for office.

Very recently, Microsoft also unveiled a feature in Windows 10 for Phone that launches universal applications as if they were throwing on a PC. A screen, a keyboard and mouse are of course required.

As for Canonical, he had thought for a long time. Remember, in 2013, he had already developed the telephone Ubuntu Edge, which could start Android, Ubuntu Touch but also reproduce the environment of the desktop OS based on Linux.

And although the project was abandoned, not having raised the necessary funds on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, this idea of convergence between PC and phone does not seem to have been abandoned, especially at the present time Microsoft is already planning the release of Windows Mobile will benefit from similar functionality.

However, at this stage, can not yet be satisfied that a short statement of Mark Shuttleworth, founder of Ubuntu Foundation:

"I want to announce that we will sell a device this year with a builder - which will keep in your pocket; which will be a phone that offers a computer experience. "
