Buy original Mobile phones from authentic agents or dealers to avoid malfunctioning. This will also provide you security and warranty. There are two ways to do this:
1) From the home screen, press Menu - Settings - Privacy - Factory data reset - Reset mobile phone. It might call you for a password. Next to that, select Erase everything
2) If you mobile phone has completely frozen and you want to hard reset it, turn the Power off or pull the battery out and put it back in.

3)Next to that, hold down the Volume Down key. Next to that, press and hold the Power key. The mobile phone will turn itself on. When you are presented with a menu, select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down key.
4)Press and release the Power key. To confirm, press Volume Up for Yes or Volume Down for No.
