Impact of HR Organization and Cost Center in ERP System

Just to clarify: it has been confirmed by the KPMG team that once the HR updates employee database with Organization and Department from the core HR module, the one to one mapping of cost centers will be generated automatically. However, we are yet to see that demonstration in the system as its planned under the post go live activities.

At the same time, “yes” the Payroll team can manually change the cost centers accordingly at this point of time, which we have already tested. Hence, the costs for that particular employee will be done under the new assigned cost center (department LOV-List of Values of the COA-Chart of Accounts) but we are not confirmed by the KPMG team whether this facility will remain as it is during go live. This is FYI (For your information) only.


If demonstration in the system is under the post go live activities, what, if it poses error! Will we be able to rectify errors then! If yes! OK.


Let me correct the wording: it will be available during go live and not after go live. However, to answer your question: KPMG hasn’t said anything about error rectification yet. We’ll have to see the demonstration in the live environment to this call. Every problem has a solution, so chill out! Anyways, we will running Payroll in both legacy and Oracle systems for 3 months in parallel to achieve consistency and stability.
